The National Health Commission and 15 other departments have issued the "Weight Management Year" implementation plan. It proposes to investigate and apply key technologies related to weight management, strengthen basic research on weight change patterns and body metabolism, develop weight management related medicine and wearables, and fully utilize information technology means such as internet, internet of things, and big data to innovate weight management models. It also aims to promote the application of AI technology in developing personalized nutrition and exercise intervention programs, and to promote deep integration of industry, academia, and research, accelerate the transformation of research results, and jointly promote innovation in weight management technology and product upgrades.
