The Ministry of Finance and 4 other departments have issued a notice to implement the policy of equipment update loans with financial discount. The discount standard is: if the loan issued by the bank to the operating entity meets the conditions for reimbursement of re-loans, the central finance will discount the principal of the bank loan to the operating entity by 1 percentage point. The discount will be given from the day when the relevant loan funds are paid to the supplier account, and the discount period shall not exceed 2 years. If the operating entity implements the equipment update action as required, and is included in the list of alternative projects determined by the relevant departments, and the bank loan issued by the bank to it receives the reloan support from the People's Bank of China for equipment update, the central finance will give discount to the bank loan to the operating entity. The list of alternative projects shall be determined by consultation among the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and other departments.
