Emergency repair work in the flood-stricken areas of Meizhou is being carried out in an orderly manner. The communication network has been restored to its pre-disaster level, while road, electrical utilities, and water supply are still being repaired in several areas. As of 6pm on the 22nd, of the 33 towns affected by the flood, 21 had fully restored their power supply, with 174,000 households affected and 9,000 households yet to be restored still concentrated in the Pingyuan and Jiaoling areas; all the affected towns and administrative villages had restored their power supply, with an overall power restoration rate of 95.8%. As of 7pm on the 22nd, the Guangdong Provincial Flood Control Headquarters maintained a level IV emergency response, while Meizhou maintained a level I emergency response.
