HSBC announced on Thursday that Danielle Johnson, a senior employee from Goldman Sachs, will serve as the global head of clients for its global banking and markets business segment starting from June 3. Johnson has worked at Goldman Sachs for more than 20 years, serving as a senior client manager responsible for asset management companies, banks, and hedge funds. She also served as the co-head of US stock sales at the investment bank. In her new role, she will be responsible for strengthening coverage of institutional clients, particularly those based in the Western Hemisphere who conduct global business. She will be based in New York and report to HSBC's global co-heads of banking, Lisa McGeough and Gerry Keefe.
