For example, they are requiring Chinese companies to submit detailed information on battery components and formulas, as well as to provide detailed purchase information and pricing for all electric vehicle parts and raw materials, sales channels, and pricing methods, as well as European customer information and supply chain layout. The types, scope, and quantity of information collected by the EU far exceeds what is necessary for the anti-subsidy investigation. He Ya-dong further explained that the European Commission has repeatedly threatened that those who do not cooperate will face unfavorable rulings, and have forcefully demanded that companies provide the above information. After Chinese companies did their best to cooperate with the investigation and provide information, the European Commission still baselessly accused Chinese companies of not cooperating fully and imposed punitive high tariffs, which shocked and disappointed Chinese enterprises.
