Among the listed brokerages, the enthusiasm for mid-term dividends has greatly increased. According to incomplete statistics, as of recent days, 26 listed brokerages have planned to launch mid-term dividends, accounting for 60% of the listed brokerages, of which 10 brokerages' relevant proposals have been passed by the shareholders' meeting. However, in the past five years, less than five brokerages have distributed mid-term dividends each year. The reporter noticed that in setting the dividend ratio, most brokerages set the upper limit of cash dividends for the mid-term at 30%, that is, the dividend ratio does not exceed 30% of the net income attributable to shareholders (or net income attributable to the parent company, the same below) for the current period. Head broker Citic Securities set the upper limit at 40%; Soochow Securities set the upper limit at 50%. Industry insiders pointed out that it is worth paying attention to how brokerages can effectively implement mid-term dividends and enhance investor sentiment in the future. (Securities Times)
