At the 'Forum III: Technological Innovation and High-quality Development of Capital Markets' Q&A session, Qiu shared his insights on the role of the capital markets in supporting technological innovation from three perspectives: history, reality, and the future. With regards to future perspectives, Qiu said that after the Central Financial Work Conference, the State Council has recently issued the new 'Nine Articles of State,' the China Securities Regulatory Commission has issued 16 measures to support technological innovation, and the China Securities Regulatory Commission issued eight measures on June 19 to support the development of the 'Star Market.' These measures have a significant role to play in the development of the Star Market, as well as the support for technological innovation within the capital markets. 'For all of these measures, the exchange has two important missions to further implement: first, how to enhance the market's inclusiveness, and support technological innovation. Second, how to increase regulatory efforts to protect the legitimate rights and interests of investors, particularly in cracking down on fraud and promoting the ecological construction of the capital markets.'
