Chen Guoping, deputy general manager of State Grid, said that the new type of power system is an efficient air "highway network" for transporting clean energy, which cannot be built without a large amount of silicon-based materials such as photovoltaic panels, intelligent meters, insulators, etc., all of which are used by silicon giants.
