Fang Xinghai, Vice Chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, said at the Lujiazui Forum in 2024 that since the release of the regulatory listing filing method on March 31 last year, we have found that Chinese companies are very active in IPOs overseas. As of yesterday, a total of 158 companies have filed for overseas IPOs. Of the 158 companies, 85 went to Hong Kong for listing, while 73 went to the United States for listing. With regards to overseas listings, the attitude of the CSRC is to speed up the filing process. We are now faster than before, but overseas listing filing is still a new thing and our speed is not fast enough. We need to continue to accelerate the filing speed. This is a good thing because there are a lot of queued companies, which shows that Chinese companies are very active and serious in their work. They are definitely not stagnant and all want to grow stronger. We must strongly support such things.In the filing process, we need to emphasize more on approving the listing of enterprises with strong innovation and financing strength when they go public overseas as soon as possible. And we also support mainland Chinese companies to go public overseas, especially in Hong Kong.
