On June 19, Bank of China and ChinaBond Valuation Center jointly released the ChinaBond BOC Green Bond Index. This index will integrate the concept of sustainable development with green finance, select green bond issuers that perform well in the field of sustainable development through the introduction of ESG evaluation indicators. The component bonds of the index include green bonds that are publicly issued and listed in the domestic market with an issuance amount of no less than 1 billion yuan, a remaining maturity of more than 1 month and less than 5 years (including 1 month and 5 years), and a market-implied rating of no less than AAA-. The issuers of index components are policy banks or credit bond issuers with a main rating of AAA and a ChinaBond ESG evaluation score of 6 or above.
