Recently, the Shanghai Financial Regulatory Bureau, together with the People's Bank of China Shanghai Branch, the Shanghai Development and Reform Commission, the Shanghai Finance Bureau, the Office of the Shanghai Financial Commission, the Shanghai State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce and other departments, issued the 'Action Plan for the Construction of Shanghai Bank and Insurance Supply Chain Financial Demonstration Zone', promoting the construction of a supply chain finance demonstration zone in Shanghai. The Shanghai Financial Regulatory Bureau requires a focus on Shanghai's key industrial clusters, providing comprehensive supply chain financial services in all aspects, meeting the reasonable financing needs of upstream and downstream small and micro enterprises, and achieving full coverage of supply chain financial services for Shanghai leading enterprises, chain-leading enterprises and key industrial chains by the end of 2025. This will facilitate the integration of industry, technology and finance, comprehensively enhance the ability of financial services across the entire industry chain, and establish a representative and demonstrative supply chain financial innovation demonstration zone.
