According to data from China Passenger Car Association, the production of electric passenger vehicles in May reached 881,000, an increase of 31.0% year-on-year and 9.9% month-on-month. The wholesale sales volume of electric passenger vehicles in May reached 897,000, a year-on-year increase of 32.1% and a month-on-month increase of 13.8%. The retail sales of new energy vehicles in May reached 804,000, up 38.5% year on year and 18.7% month on month. The export volume of new energy vehicles in May was 94,000, a year-on-year decrease of 4.0% and a month-on-month decrease of 18.8%.
