HuaiBei Lujin Shares (02450.HK) announced that the term of office of the company's audit firm, KPMG, has expired after the completion of the audit work for the 2023 fiscal year. The company has started to select its auditors through public tender in May 2024 in accordance with the "Regulations for the Selection of Accounting Firms for State-owned Enterprises and Listed Companies" and the "Material Procurement Management Measures (2022 Revised Edition) of HuaiBei JianTou Holdings Group Co., Ltd. (the controlling shareholder of the company). ZhengZheng Accounting Firm has been awarded the contract with a high-quality and cost-effective quote. Therefore, the company will make the following arrangements: 1. The current audit firm, KPMG, will retire at the end of the upcoming shareholder annual meeting and will not be reappointed; and 2. Upon the recommendation of the company's audit committee, the board of directors proposed to appoint ZhengZheng Accounting Firm as the new audit firm of the company after the retirement of KPMG, and the appointment will take effect after being approved by the company's shareholders at the upcoming shareholder annual meeting. It will be responsible for the annual audit of the company in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.
