Korea's agency for aerospace policy, research and development, and industry, “Japan Aerospace Agency” was officially established on May 27. Yin Ningbin, the first director of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, said on the same day that the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency will build a private-sector space industry ecosystem. The Japan Aerospace Agency is a central administrative agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology, Information and Communications. It consists of 293 people, including the director, deputy director, and the head of the Aerospace Mission Division. John Lee, the former head of satellite management at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, will serve as the head of the Aerospace Mission.
