Recently, the world's largest single propane dehydrogenation project with an annual output of 1 million tons, provided by Tianhua Institute, a subsidiary of Sinochem, was officially put into operation in Fuqing, Fujian, with a ring tube reactor and propane-propylene separation tower. The project achieved a localization rate of over 99.5% of equipment and accessories, equipped with 10 global and national first equipment sets, with a total investment of 4 billion yuan. The estimated annual output value is 10 billion yuan, driving the downstream industry chain with an annual output value of 20 billion yuan. The project uses the world's largest thermoplastic elastomer polypropylene plant ring tube reactor with an annual output of 1.2 million tons. It was developed by Tianhua Institute in cooperation with relevant organizations, and manufactured by Tianhua Institute. The inner cylinder of the ring tube reactor has a diameter of 0.8 meters, a total length of about 60 meters, and a total weight of about 900 tons. The integrated processing and molding accuracy of the equipment is superior to that of imported equipment, effectively filling the gap in the design and manufacturing of domestic super-large ring tube reactors. Its technical achievements have won the first prize for scientific progress from the China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Application Association, and the overall technical level is advanced internationally. In addition, the propane-propylene separation tower used in the project is 138 meters high and has a volume of 11,000 cubic meters.
