Guangdong Electric Power A announced that Unit 2 of the Zhaoqing Dinghu Natural Gas Cogeneration Project invested and built by the holding subsidiary Guangdong Yuedian Yong'an Natural Gas Thermal Power Co., Ltd. passed 168-hour trial operation at full load, successfully connected to the grid and put into commercial operation. Two 460MW gas-steam combined cycle cogeneration units were fully completed and put into operation in the first phase of the project. The project is located in Zhaoqing Industrial Park, with a total investment of 2,998 billion yuan, an estimated annual power generation capacity of 2.9 billion kilowatt-hours and 560 tons/hour of heating. It can provide safe and reliable clean electricity and heat energy for regional economic development, which will help the company expand the scale of installed power generation, increase the proportion of clean power sources, and enhance its comprehensive strength and market competitiveness.
