(Taiping, China, 0966.HK) issued an announcement stating that the company's Taiping Pension had previously introduced external investors to increase capital through public listing to provide customers with life insurance and non-life insurance products in the European and Asian markets. Belgium Fujie International Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Fujie), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the listed international insurance group ageas SA/NV, has been confirmed by the Shanghai Property Exchange and is the only qualified bidder in accordance with the listing rules and regulations. Currently, Taiping Pension has two shareholders: China Taiping holds 99.99% of the shares, and Longbi Industrial Zone Management (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Longbi), which is wholly-owned by China Taiping, holds 0.01% of the shares. China Taiping said in an announcement that on May 20, the company signed capital increase agreements with Longbi, Fujie and Taiping Pension. According to the capital increase agreement, Fujie agreed to conditionally subscribe, while Taiping Pension agreed to conditionally issue subscription shares equivalent to about 10% of the issued share capital after the expansion of Taiping Pension, at a price of RMB 1,075 billion.
