According to the WeChat account of “Henan Release”, at around 10 o'clock on May 18, a logistics drone took off vertically from Cyberport in the Henan Science and Technology Market. After 12 minutes of flight according to the established route, it landed smoothly at the Xintiandi Communications Building in Zhengzhou, 8.7 kilometers away, marking the first successful flight of the first low-altitude drone logistics distribution route in Henan. On the same day, the items delivered on the route were mainly high value-added products such as mobile phones. Compared to ground transportation, drones break through terrain restrictions and have obvious advantages in scenarios with high timeliness requirements, such as instant delivery in the same city.
