According to Baogang Co., Ltd., the high energy consumption of ball mills has always been one of the problems limiting the green development of mineral processing systems. Recently, Baogang Co., Ltd. Barun Branch adopted a series of measures to reduce energy consumption, successfully overcoming the high energy consumption problem of three-stage ball mills. The ball mill reduced electricity consumption by nearly 1,000 kilowatt-hours per hour, and guaranteed the target particle size requirements for grinding products, providing new lessons for the green and low-carbon development of the mineral processing industry. Baogang Co., Ltd. Barun Branch uses multi-performance nanocomposite ceramic balls to replace traditional grinding medium steel forging to achieve fine control of the particle size of grinding products. By optimizing grinding processes and parameters, the energy consumption and grinding costs of ball mills are effectively reduced. In response to the problem of the high energy consumption of the three-stage ball mill, technicians and operators of Baogang Co., Ltd. collaborated fully and proposed a series of effective solutions. Among them, the screen combination is optimized to control the particle size distribution of the grinding material, improve the stability of the grinding process, adjust the power factor of the mill itself, reduce the grinding energy consumption to a certain extent, and achieve an effective reduction in energy consumption.
