A: This is the sixth time Japan has discharged nuclear-contaminated water into the ocean. While safety and reliability have not been ensured until now, Japan's act of dumping nuclear contaminated water has repeatedly promoted ecological risks to neighboring countries and oceans, which is deeply outraged. China resolutely opposes Japan's unilateral draining of the sea; this position is clear and consistent. Once again, we solemnly demand that Japan attach great importance to the concerns of Japan and the international community, and fully cooperate in establishing an independent and effective long-term international monitoring arrangement with substantial stakeholder participation.
