In addition to foreign travelers who are subject to the visa-free cruise policy for inbound tourism, China's unilaterally visa-free countries and people from countries that are exempt from ordinary passports in China can enter the relevant visa-free policy when entering the country by cruise ship. At the same time, foreigners who meet China's visa-free transit policy can also cross the border after a short stay in China on a cruise ship. Currently, all coastal provinces in China have implemented visa-free transit policies, and the applicable ports are mainly air ports. Of the 13 cruise ports involved this time, 7 cruise ports in Dalian, Lianyungang, Wenzhou, Zhoushan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Beihai and other places have not been included in the visa-free transit policy system before. In order to further promote cruise tourism and strengthen the integration and comprehensive coverage of various policies, it was decided to add the above 7 ports as ports subject to the visa-free transit policy, with the approval of the State Council, to facilitate eligible foreign travelers to transit through our country as needed.
