Statistics show that as of 18:00 on May 13, more than 80 Shanghai main boards had issued equity distribution implementation announcements, and the “payment” of profit distribution was in full swing. Since the release of the new “National Nine Rules”, Shanghai companies have continuously strengthened shareholder returns and responded positively to calls for dividends many times a year and dividends before the Spring Festival. According to statistics, the number of mid-term dividend companies on the Shanghai Main Board is increasing year by year. From 2019 to 2023, the number of companies implementing mid-term dividends was 51, 57, 65, 68, and 92, respectively. In 2024, the “multiple dividends in a year” phenomenon is even more popular. Several companies, including Linglong Tire and Keliyuan, have already clarified their profit distribution plans for the first quarter. In addition, more than 50 Shanghai main board companies have announced mid-term dividend plans. The dividend pillar position of Shanghai Main Board companies in 2023 was further highlighted. The data showed that the number of companies that met the legal dividend requirements and were profitable was about 1,300.
