可用 AI 写 Java 程序,甲骨文推出 Oracle Code Assist 编程助理

Using AI to write Java programs, Oracle launches Oracle Code Assist programming assistant

IT Home reported on May 13 that, after vendors such as Microsoft, OpenAI, and Google, Oracle joined the camp to develop AI programming assistants. The company recently launched a tool called Oracle Code Assist to help users develop Java programs.

According to the introduction, Oracle Code Assist is based on Oracle's cloud-based Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) model and aims to optimize application development processes on Java, SQL programs, and OCI platforms. Oracle emphasizes that the relevant AI programming assistant “has been trained in various software libraries” and fine-tuned through its own software, and users can use relevant models to achieve “efficient programming” with Oracle software.

IT Home notes that currently this programming assistant can handle tasks such as code generation, API documentation generation, and intelligent comment addition, claiming to be able to “help developers understand development principles and view or modify existing code.” The assistant can also suggest modifications or generate pull requests to automatically incorporate code changes into the software library.

According to Oracle, enterprises can also use Oracle Code Assist to achieve some “advanced functions”, such as integrating internal corporate code/frameworks/libraries for the assistant to generate “customized” code, and can also check for possible code errors and inefficiency of “latecomers” based on the experience of previous development of enterprise programs.
