Researchers at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in the US have built a robot. Through machine learning training, the robot can automatically complete complex microinjections in genetic research. The relevant paper was published in the latest issue of “Genetics” magazine. This fully automated process is more robust and repeatable than manual injections. Writing and reading DNA has improved greatly in recent years, but having this technology will improve people's ability to conduct large-scale genetic experiments in various organisms.
