Vice Minister of Finance Wang Dongwei said at the press conference of the State Information Office on April 22 that efforts will be made to expand and promote domestic demand. Play the fiscal and taxation policy mix to support the implementation of large-scale equipment upgrades and consumer goods trade-in actions. Focusing on the direction of consumer consumption upgrading, coordinate stock policies and additional policies, adhere to collaboration between the central financial administration and local governments, actively promote trade-in of durable consumer goods such as automobiles and home appliances, cultivate new consumption growth points; support the implementation of county commercial construction actions and the construction of modern commercial and trade circulation systems to raise the level of consumer service guarantees. In the near future, we will also work with relevant departments to begin implementing shortfalls in county charging and switching facilities. This year, we will support around 70 pilot counties in 24 provinces to tap the consumption potential of new energy vehicles in rural areas.
