We learned from Wuhan Customs that in the first quarter of this year, Hubei Province's total import and export value was 152.08 billion yuan, an increase of 8.3% over the previous year. Among them, exports amounted to 104.86 billion yuan, an increase of 10.7%; imports amounted to 47.22 billion yuan, an increase of 3.4%. Looking at the growth rate, Hubei's overall import and export growth rate in the first quarter was 3.3 percentage points higher than the national average for the same period. Among them, the export growth rate was 5.8 percentage points higher than the national average. Hubei exported 58.52 billion yuan of mechanical and electrical products, an increase of 33.4%, accounting for an increase of 9.5 percentage points. Among them, mobile phones, automobiles (including chassis), and integrated circuits have all achieved rapid growth.
