I learned from the China Nuclear Energy Industry Association 2024 Spring International Forum on Sustainable Nuclear Energy Development held on the same day that China has fully joined the ranks of the world's major nuclear power countries, and its nuclear power safety operation performance has maintained an advanced international level. Up to now, China has 55 commercial nuclear power units, with a total installed capacity of 57.03 million kilowatts, ranking third in the world after the US and France; 38 nuclear power units are under construction and approved, with a total installed capacity of 44.8 million kilowatts, and a total installed capacity of over 100 million kilowatts.
