German Bavaria Governor Sodel recently visited many parts of China for several days. During their visit to Sichuan, Sodel and his entourage made a special trip to Chengdu Xinzhu Road and Bridge Machinery Co., Ltd. to visit the Sino-German embedded medium- and low-speed maglev test line in Chengdu and listen to presentations from Chinese enterprise leaders on the technical performance advantages and industrial prospects of maglev trains. In Chengdu, Sichuan, Sodel said he hopes to expand economic, technological, and cultural ties between Bavaria and China through this trip, and looks forward to more fruitful results at the level of cooperation between the two states and provinces. Sodel said that he values economic and trade relations with China and believes it is very important for German companies to gain a place in China.
