According to Tianyancha's intellectual property information, recently, the status of several “XIAOMI SU,” “XIAOMI SU7,” “Xiaomi SU 7,” and “Xiaomi SU” trademarks applied for registration by Xiaomi Technology Co., Ltd. changed to a “preliminary investigation notice” status. The above trademarks were all applied for in November 2023. The international classification covers transportation and storage, machinery and equipment, means of transport, etc. According to reports, the Trademark Law stipulates that if a trademark applied for registration has been examined by the Trademark Office and complies with the relevant provisions of the Trademark Law, a preliminary examination notice will be issued. Within three months from the date of the announcement, prior rights holders, interested parties, etc. may file objections to the application for registration of a trademark. If there is no objection at the end of the notice period, registration will be approved.
