Regarding the tariff exemption policy for Ukrainian agricultural products in the European Union market, representatives of EU member states reached a revised agreement on the 27th, agreeing to extend the tax exemption policy while adding certain restrictions. As for the previous version of the agreement, some member states were dissatisfied that it might threaten the stability of the EU agricultural market. The agreement reached on the same day must be discussed and approved by the European Parliament. According to Reuters, EU member state diplomats may seek more exemptions at that time.
