On June 26, Guangzhou Automobile Group publicly demonstrated the flying car project for the first time on Science and Technology Day, and the flying car GOVE completed its first flight in the world. Wu Jian, director of the Guangzhou Automobile Research Institute, said that GOVE can take off and land vertically and is equipped with a dual backup multi-rotor flight system to ensure flight safety. Using this as a starting point, future flying cars will also build GAC's future three-dimensional mobility solutions with Ruqi Travel, Robotaxi, etc. In addition, on Science and Technology Day, GAC also unveiled scientific and technological achievements such as the industry's first hydrogen hybrid vehicle, the GAC Trumpchi E9, the first passenger car ammonia engine that uses liquid ammonia as fuel, the GAC Rubik's Cube scenario co-creation platform, and Aian N all-in-one electric drive technology. GAC General Manager Feng Xingya said that GAC's R&D intensity is 6% per year, with a total investment of 42 billion yuan.
