OPEC+ did not invite reporters from the three major news agencies to cover the organization's meetings in Vienna this weekend. The organization's secretariat usually issues accreditation to any journalist who wishes to report on a conference at its headquarters. This time, instead of providing such an opportunity, they directly sent out invitations to reporters. As of Wednesday evening, no one had been invited by Bloomberg News. Reporters from Reuters and The Wall Street Journal were also denied invitations, according to people familiar with the matter.
