During the meeting, Wang Wentao emphasized many times that opening up to the outside world is China's basic national policy, and China is unswervingly promoting a high level of openness. We are willing to provide a good environment and services for enterprises from various countries to develop in China. In fact, many important documents emphasize that China will unswervingly expand its openness. The report of the 20th National Congress of the Party emphasized that “China adheres to the basic national policy of opening up to the outside world, firmly pursues a mutually beneficial and win-win opening-up strategy” and “promotes a high level of opening-up to the outside world.” The Central Economic Work Conference held at the end of last year further emphasized “insisting on promoting a high level of opening-up to the outside world and steadily expanding systemic openness such as rules, regulations, management, and standards.”
