At the 2023 Global 6G Technology Conference, China's Vice Minister of Science and Technology Zhang Guangjun pointed out in his speech that China attaches great importance to 6G development. The “14th Five-Year Plan Outline” and “14th Five-Year Plan” clearly state that reserves for 6G network technology should be deployed in a forward-looking manner, requiring increased support for 6G technology research and development and active participation in promoting 6G international standardization. At present, China has made significant progress in key technologies such as 6G ultra-large-scale multiple input and multiple output (MIMO), terahertz communication, integrated sensing, endogenous AI communication, deterministic networks, and integrated satellite and terrestrial networks. The Chinese Government has always insisted on opening up technology to the outside world and actively integrating it into global innovation networks. Focusing on the 6G field, the Ministry of Science and Technology will aim to “build infrastructure for the future digital world”, support global scientists to jointly explore and cooperate around vision and applications, networks and coverage, transmission and devices, and welcome a wide range of international enterprises, research institutes, and universities to participate.
