The Henan Provincial Housing and Urban-Rural Development Work Conference was held in Zhengzhou on February 7. Key tasks for 2023 were presented at the conference. The conference made it clear that construction of affordable housing will be promoted. The transformation of shantytowns has been steadily promoted, with the construction of 280,000 new housing units and the basic construction of 200,000 housing units, and vigorously promoting the completion and delivery of projects on expropriation and resettlement issues. The construction raised 75,000 affordable rental housing units, enhanced the ability to accurately guarantee public rental housing, and improved entry, management and exit mechanisms. Optimize housing provident fund deposit, use, management and operation systems to expand the scope of benefits. Support the withdrawal of provident funds to rent houses and install elevators in old urban neighborhoods. Promote the digital development of housing provident funds and promote “cross-provincial integration” of the two service items of rental housing withdrawal and early retirement withdrawal.
