On December 30, at the “2022 First China Metaverse Industry High-End Summit” held in Chengdu, Li Ming, director of the Blockchain Research Office of the Electronic Standards Institute, said that the metaverse is a new consumer ecosystem built on next-generation technology to promote industrial digitization and digital industrialization. The main problem with the development of the metaverse is that it is too far from users to provide real large-scale consumption scenarios. Li Ming suggested that the development of the metaverse should encourage collective intellectual exploration, promote innovation, strengthen technological research through standardization work, and increase innovative business models and governance supervision.
