Construction of the Angang Steel Xi'anshan Iron Mine Project, the largest single underground iron mine in the country, officially began on the 16th. After completion of this project with a total investment of 22.9 billion yuan, the annual iron concentrate production will reach 10 million tons, further enhancing China's ability to guarantee the supply of iron ore resources. The Xi'anshan Iron Ore has resource reserves of 1.3 billion tons. It is designed to produce 30 million tons of iron ore and more than 10 million tons of iron concentrate per year. It is scheduled to be put into operation in 2027.
