According to media, Gazprom said that in the first 10 months of this year, Gazprom's natural gas production was 34.4 billion cubic meters, down 18.6 percent from the same period last year. Gazprom said that during this period, natural gas exports to non-CIS countries were 91.2 billion cubic meters, down 42.6 per cent from a year earlier. Gazprom said that according to initial preliminary estimates and available business data, global natural gas demand decreased by more than 40 billion cubic meters. About 85% of the demand cuts come from the European Union. In addition, Britain's natural gas demand fell by about 4 billion cubic meters. Both account for about 95 per cent of the decline in global demand.
