Australian nickel exploration company GME Resources Limited announced the signing of a non-binding Memorandum of understanding (MOU) with automaker Stellantis on the purchase of future battery-grade nickel-cobalt sulfate products for the NiWest nickel-cobalt project. The final feasibility study for the nickel-cobalt development project NiWest, which will produce about 90000 tons of battery-grade nickel and cobalt sulfate products per year, will begin this month. The proposed location of the project plant is about 30km from the Murrin Murrin mining area of Glencore.
