KE Holdings Inc. Research Institute recently released a national housing vacancy rate report. According to the report, the average vacancy rate of housing in the 28 large and medium-sized cities surveyed is 12%. In terms of cities, Shenzhen, Beijing and Shanghai have the lowest vacancy rates, all below 7%. Most cities, such as Xi'an, Zhengzhou, Kunming, Hefei and Wuxi, are between 10% and 15%. The vacancy rate of housing in Nanchang, Langfang and Foshan is relatively high, all above 15%.
