Truist analyst Andrew Jeffrey lowered his target price for PayPal Holdings Inc to $80 from $85 and maintained his holding rating on the stock. In a research note on the IT services industry, the analyst told investors that while he is still bullish on leading digital native stocks and traditional networks as "havens" for a long time, the risk / return level of traditional processors is the most attractive in the face of recent profit margin risks and market share challenges. The analyst added that despite the first-mover advantages of e-commerce, a strong balance sheet, above-average organic income growth and relatively attractive valuations, he is reluctant to recommend a stock that is losing market share of US SME brands.
