By 2025, the pattern of overall integration of emission reduction and carbon sequestration in agricultural and rural areas with food security, rural revitalization and agricultural and rural modernization will be basically formed, the supply of grain and important agricultural products will be more powerful, and positive results will be achieved in the green and low-carbon development in agricultural and rural areas. the structure and regional distribution of agricultural production have been significantly optimized, the emission intensity of agricultural products in planting and aquaculture units has declined steadily, and the carbon sequestration capacity of farmland soil has been enhanced. The efficiency of energy use in agricultural and rural areas has been improved. Key tasks include: planting energy conservation and emission reduction, animal husbandry emission reduction and carbon reduction, fishery emission reduction and increase of foreign exchange, farmland carbon sequestration and capacity expansion, agricultural machinery energy conservation and emission reduction, and renewable energy substitution.
