According to CCTV, the European Union announced the sixth round of sanctions against Russia. The European Commission announced on the 3rd the sixth round of sanctions against Russia, including some oil embargoes and sanctions on Russian oil tankers, banks and the media. These include banning EU companies from providing insurance and reinsurance for merchant ships carrying Russian oil; EU oil imports from Russia will be reduced by 90 per cent by the end of 2022; three banks, including Russia's largest bank, the savings Bank of Russia, and a Belarusian bank, are excluded from the Global Interbank Financial Communications Association payment system. The broadcasting licenses of three Russian state media have been suspended and EU companies are not allowed to publish advertisements on these media.
