A spokesman for the National Development and Reform Commission said it was planned to organize the first batch of potash reserves through a low-price auction on October 20. The main purpose of this auction is to benefit farmers through low-price reserve resources, and to guide market expectations through reserve release to meet the production of compound fertilizer this winter and next spring. In the next step, the NDRC will pay close attention to the trend of chemical fertilizer at home and abroad, and further give full play to the positive role of reserves in ensuring supply and stabilizing prices.
